We reach thousands of Benue residents with life-saving interventions and development programs focused on education, healthcare, disaster response, and community empowerment.
Father Isaiah Kookoko Ter is a Roman Catholic Priest and a Civil Lawyer. He is a leading humanitarian Administrator within the Catholic Diocese of Gboko.
He serves as the Executive Director of Caritas Foundation for Justice and Peace (Caritas Gboko). He is also the Head of Migrant and Refugees Department, which are the Social and Humanitarian arms of the Catholic Diocese of Gboko.
He is primarily responsible for coordinating the relief efforts for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Benue state. Over 40% of the IDPs in Benue State reside within the jurisdiction of Gboko Diocese.
Working closely with Bishop William Avenya who has written a book on the killings in the middle belt and Nigeria at large, he coordinates the provision of food, shelter, skill acquisition, and medical care to displaced persons in the region.
He works and campaigns against Human Trafficking, Violence and Persecution of Farmers and Christians in Nigeria.
The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Gboko, Most Revd William Avenya donated a 33kv Transformer to Gboko Correctional Centre (Gboko Prisons) to reduce the electricity challenge in the facility. This donation is a continuous effort of the Bishop to propagate the Gospel to the inmates through Prison Apostolate.
