Who We Are
Caritas Foundation for Justice and Peace Gboko is a humanitarian foundation of the Catholic Diocese of Gboko, established by the diocese in 2013 and incorporated with CAC in 2018, as a faith-based Non-Governmental Organization. Before its incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), it was known and called; Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) but because of the incorporation with CAC, it is now known and called worldwide as Caritas Foundation for Justice and Peace with a short name as "Caritas Gboko".
Since the establishment of Caritas Gboko, more than 1 million direct and indirect beneficiaries have benefited from our services through the partnership of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Caritas Nigeria, Aid to the Church in Need Internationalis (ACN), U.S Embassy Abuja, Irish Aid Abuja, Switzerland Embassy Abuja, SWISS-Hand Foundation Switzerland, APIN, etc.

Our mission is to assist people in need, to actively contribute to the development of sustainable society that promote equality, social justice and dignity of the human person in accordance with the Catholic Social Teaching.
