Goal: To improve access to comprehensive HIV services to 30,000 AYP of 15-24 years through the development and deployment of “YouthCare” mobile application and monitoring of HIV services at the health facility and community level in Buruku, Gboko, Ushongo, Vandeikya and Tarka LGAs of Benue State.
Target: 30,000 Adolescent Youth Population of 15-24 years in Buruku, Gboko, Ushongo, Vandeikya and Tarka LGAs of Benue State.
Project Description: This project developed and deployed a “YouthCare” mobile Application that was user-friendly and secured data storage which hosted 6 menu; HIV Information Hub, Interactive Counseling, Facility Locator, Appointment Scheduling, Adherence Support and Referral Tracking. There was a daily monitoring of the HIV service delivery at the PEPFAR-supported Health facilities which ensured AYP received comprehensive HIV services Buruku, Gboko, Ushongo, Vandeikya and Tarka LGAs of Benue State.
Project Status: Completed (2024 -2025).
