Caritas Gboko with support from SWISSHAND Foundation has since 2021 been implementing a household economic empowerment project called PROMIC where women are provided with seed grants at zero collateral and near-to-zero interest rates to regain or improve their livelihoods and repay at comfortable tenures. Over 1691 CWO in the diocese have benefitted from this project and become self-reliant.
