Project Goal: To increase active participation and transparency in the electorate processes in Buruku, Gboko, Kwande, Konshisha, Tarka, Ushongo and Vandeikya LGAs of Benue State.
Targets: The project targeted unregistered Voter’s Card, and all citizenry within the 7 LGAs.
Project Description: The project facilitated registration of Voter’s Cards in rural areas, carried out campaign awareness on active participation of citizenry in all electorate process and, monitored and observed the 2023 General Election within the 7 LGAs of Benue State. The project designed and deployed an Election Monitoring Mobile App were Election Observers were deployed in all pulling units within the project coverage. Caritas Gboko also hosted the Election Situation room for Northern States in the 2023 General Elections.
