Brief Profile
Caritas Foundation for Justice and Peace Gboko is a humanitarian foundation of the Catholic Diocese of Gboko, established by the diocese in 2013 and incorporated with CAC in 2018, as a faith-based Non-Governmental Organization. Before its incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), it was known and called; Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) but because of the incorporation with CAC, it is now known and called worldwide as Caritas Foundation for Justice and Peace with a short name as “Caritas Gboko”.
Mission
Our mission is to assist people in need, to actively contribute to the development of sustainable society that promote equality, social justice and dignity of the human person in accordance with the social teachings of the Catholic Church. Although our mission is rooted in the Catholic faith, our operations serve all peoples in need, regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity or political affiliation.
